He received a bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the same University in 1970. He has practiced in Illinois, Connecticut, New York and Florida. He has been a member of the AstoriaVeterinary Group for the past sixteen years.

Dr. Sakal is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New York State Veterinary Medical Association, the Florida Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Association and the Veterinary Information Network.

Dr. Kenneth Kamer

He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Bologna in 1981. He has practiced in both Connecticut and Maryland. Prior to opening the Astoria Veterinary Group with Dr. Anthony Sakal in 1991, he practiced in Brooklyn and Queens.
 
He is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Information Network.

He loves and cares for all animals but has a special fondness for pugs!

She received a bachelor's degree from New York University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State in 1999. She has been a member of the Astoria Veterinary Group for the past seven years.

She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and a member of the Veterinary Information Network.

Dr. Joanne Seinsheimer

She earned her BA from the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University. She completed her clinical year of training at the University of Illinois. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Society. She currently lives in Manhattan and enjoys cooking, hiking and running with  her dog Iggy.
