Comments :    My cat, Carlito, had a swollen paw for awhile, but was otherwise active and behaving normally. My original vet kept pushing antibiotics and steroids, barely even examined Carlito and had no good explanation to why I should put my cat on all those drugs. I came to Astoria Veterinary, and Carlito was examined by Dr. Gentile, who really gave him a thorough exam which was focused on range of motion. Carlito let Dr. Gentile move his legs all over the place without a hiss, growl, or hint of protest. Dr. Gentile didn't push drugs and gave me a good explanation of what was causing the swollen paw. And, Carlito's paw is now fine. I found a good vet, and will be bring Carlito and his brother there from now on. Emily

Comments :    My cats (pets 4) (strays at least 20) have been under the care of the fine Doctors and support staff for the past 25 years and I trust them completely. Everyone is always helpful and extremely caring in a time of crisis, and especially loving with the death of a longtime companion, Charlie @ 21yrs.
